Pop music I listen to while working and doing other things

I appreciate reading about the pop music that my friends listen to for nostolgia, fodder for design work flow (Csikszentmihalyi), and procrastination/well-deserved breaks from work. I especially appreciate and look forward to Ian McCowan’s sorta-regular long format and Matt Price’s facebook posts. Someday I’ll find time to aspire to those levels and relate what I’m listening to to my life, but for now, these lists are a start. These lists are a kind of working note-to-self to build efficacy for more writing later.

A couple more notes before the lists:

  • I have always loved listing to albums in their entirety so most of these items are complete albums
  • I subscribe to music services, but lately (2020) really love PlexAmp, physical records, and physical CDs
