April 17, 2021 Update: I’m offended and sad that this is the message that Montgomery County agreed on to represent my home, Wheaton, to the greater metro area. Nicole: I enjoy and respect your other work; can you please consider an update?

As both a Dad and a Google Partner, I know that setting up Google for Families can be just as tough as managing gSuite and Chrome for hundreds of employees — without help that is! This note is far from perfect, but I hope that it helps you and I hope that I can learn something from your comments.

I appreciate reading about the pop music that my friends listen to for nostolgia, fodder for design work flow (Csikszentmihalyi), and procrastination/well-deserved breaks from work. I especially appreciate and look forward to Ian McCowan’s sorta-regular long format and Matt Price’s facebook posts. Someday I’ll find time to aspire to those levels and relate what I’m listening to to my life, but for now, these lists are a start. Do you have multiple Google Accounts? Like school, home, work? Are you going crazy when Chrome keeps signing you out of your “primary” account? Or do like keeping your Chrome sessions isolated?
Take a look at:
If you would like to stay signed in to Chrome with one account, while logging into Google Services with multiple accounts, turn this off. Do this if you like to keep all your passwords tied to one account. This also solves the “problem” of paused browser syncing.
On the other hand, if you like to keep your browsing sessions (and passwords) between organizations separate, leave it on.
When viewing a photo, tap it to see a download icon at the top of the screen. Alternatively, from the folder view, select (check) a folder (or several files) and use the download icon at the top of the screen. Details from amazon here.
Here’s how do download files from Google Drive. Other drive services…
